Brown Pride - Asian Pride - Mexican Pride - Black Pride - White
Pride These and more are Prides in America
Prides United is a gear & clothing company dedicated to uniting
all the Prides in America which are based on color, race, or national
origin. Our mission is to be a louder voice for true racial and
ethnic unity than those who pursue intolerance and hatred.
Believing that any aspect of Prides United is racist in nature
is a misjudgment. We are here to unite, not divide. To believe oneself
superior because of race, color or national origin is not an opinion
Prides United supports or condones. We are all equals in America.
In recent years, America has been abounding with groups of people
uniting for their own cause. We have seen an explosion in Southern
California for brown pride and Mexican pride organizations and for
years there has been a deep-rooted effort gaining attention for
black pride across the country. As well there are various Asian
pride groups which include the Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea,
China, Vietnam, and Japan, just to name a few. Even our northern
neighbors from Canada are willing to share their pride.
American diversity has been more than just a footnote in our history.
It is one of the many elements that have given us such an overwhelming
sense of who we are. Since the beginning this country and her citizens
have had the inspiration to recognize this, but maybe not the clarity
to understand it. Our relatively short history has seen the evolution
of diversity as being threatening, to diversity being considered
patriotic. American prides have stood the test of time and culture,
but the test is not over. What will it take?
Prides United is here in hopes that one day we can see unity between
both ends of the spectrum. We want to see American brothers and
sisters that have black pride as well as those with white pride
to be able to look at one another without the years of past offenses,
and current conclusions to be what guides their vision. We want
to see those that are here from Israel and Palestine to be able
to accept freely one another's pride in home, culture and race.
Prides United is dedicated to uniting the Prides in America which
are based on color, race and national origin.
May these prides be based on the many different shades of skin
ranging from black, brown, white, olive, and tan.
May these prides be as diverse in race whether they are Asian
pride, African pride or Native American pride.
May these prides be based on our people from various countries,
whether it is an American pride, Mexican pride or Philippines
pride.
May white pride be known as P.R.I.D.E. White, black pride as
P.R.I.D.E. Black, Mexican pride as P.R.I.D.E. Mexico, and American
Pride as P.R.I.D.E. America.
Our mission is to be a louder voice for true racial and ethnic
unity than those who pursue intolerance and hatred.
Prides United are people reaching inside themselves to recognize
and believe in the equality of others. This belief does not completely
rely on education, dialogue, or an organizational effort. It is
firmly based on a simple principle clearly stated in the Declaration
of Independence “…that all men are created equal…”
This same principle has been the social cornerstone of America since
its inception. It is an amazingly simple statement and an ideal
which some people to this day still do not want to accept. Prides
United is here to challenge those that believe in racial supremacy
or any other type of separatism. We are all in this together.
First, P.R.I.D.E. is the People. These are the people which make
up America today. Some have been here for generations, others only
for a few days. They can be different colors; black, white, tan
or even olive skinned. Their race can vary from Samoan to African
to Native American. And the countries which are represented in America
are many.
Second in P.R.I.D.E. is Reaching Inside. For years people have
been demanding equality for themselves by reaching out through education,
dialogue, literature and law. The basis of P.R.I.D.E. is that the
change needs to happen from the inside no matter what happens on
the outside. The change needs to be more in the heart than in the
mind.
Finally, P.R.I.D.E. is Demanding Equality. Prides United is demanding
equality of others by first demanding it within ourselves.
By proudly wearing our clothing or displaying our gear you show
that you can take Pride in your own color, race, or national origin
at the same time freely accepting the Prides of others.

People Reaching Inside Demanding Equality
What Started It All
For years we have all seen a slow and subtle change in our society.
The exact beginnings of this change are not clear. This change has
been in the acceptance of other people based on race, color or national
origin. The acceptance of these people started as an instituted
one; relying on immigration laws and legal status. But as we have
seen in history, the social acceptance of these people in many instances
was not complete. This gave way to racial, ethnic, and nation based
organizations with social causes and political agendas. We know
these as Political Correctness.
Throughout American History, people from far and wide came to this
country for a better life. They came from other nations; they were
of different colors and of distant race. And they brought their
Prides with them. Our laws and institutions gave them access and
liberty. But in many cases, the hearts and minds of those that were
already here did not. This country, being founded on personal freedoms,
should be willfully blind to color, race and national origin. Since
we are human, this at times has been difficult.
Political Correctness seemed to have started by trying to affect
our hearts and minds using mostly education. It has evolved to the
point it is now using mainly litigation. Change was happening, but
not fast enough for some. Political Correctness did not work on
the principle of building on the rights of a few, but by taking
away the rights of many. Slowly, people of today are coming to this
same conclusion and are speaking out. We don’t need Political
Correctness. We can solve this ourselves.
This is where Prides United comes in. We are not here to litigate,
preach, or force our opinion and beliefs on others. We do believe
in education and dialogue. But most of all we believe in the inherent
freedoms in America and the fact “…that all men are
created equal…” We are here because there is more than
just one “Pride” in America. We believe it is time to
put it all to rest and truly Unite.
